2. Hosting, DNS and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”); Cloudflare also provides the name resolution (DNS) for the domain. When you visit the website, Cloudflare, as a processor, processes technically necessary data, in particular the IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system information and the referrer URL, in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (e.g. protection against attacks).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website). Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which Cloudflare is certified; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR exists with Cloudflare.

3. Cookies, fonts and analytics

This website does not set cookies itself, uses no tracking or analytics services and embeds no advertising. Fonts are served from our own server; no data is sent to font providers. Security measures of the hosting provider serve solely to protect the website and not for analytics or advertising.

4. Property data and images (Propstack)

Our property data comes from the real estate software of Propstack GmbH, Invalidenstr. 65, 10557 Berlin. Property images are loaded directly from Propstack’s servers; your IP address is transmitted to the provider in the process. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (presentation of our offering).

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail, phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Our e-mail mailbox is operated via Google Workspace; e-mails are stored there as processing on our behalf. WhatsApp and Telegram are used only if you contact us through these services yourself; the providers’ own privacy policies apply to their processing. This website currently has no contact form.

6. Customer management (CRM)

We manage enquiries and customer data in our real estate software Propstack (Propstack GmbH, Invalidenstr. 65, 10557 Berlin) as a processor, in order to handle enquiries and perform contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

7. Links to external sites

This website contains plain links to ImmoScout24, Immowelt, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Amazon (book) and Linktree. No plugins are embedded; data is transmitted only when you click a link, after which the respective provider’s privacy policy applies.

8. YouTube video (start pages)

On the start pages of the German, English, Russian and Hebrew versions we show the latest video of the respective YouTube channel. Initially only a preview image is shown, which is delivered from our own server; no connection to YouTube is made. Only when you click “Video laden” (load video) is the video embedded from YouTube via the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and cookies or similar technologies may be stored and read on your device. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out.

The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time by reloading the page. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Storage period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. six years for commercial correspondence under § 257 HGB and ten years for accounting records under § 147 AO). Server log files are kept by the hosting provider only for a short period.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (www.datenschutz-berlin.de).

11. Provision of data, security

The website can be used without providing personal data; technically necessary data is processed when you visit it, as described above. This website uses an encrypted connection (TLS/HTTPS). No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
